shaq Celebrity Update Shaquille O’Neal Cleveland Cavaliers center man had surgery on his injured right thumb on Monday and will likely miss the remainder of the NBA regular season, the Cavaliers said.

If he makes it back for the postseason, the NBA veteran is vowing to make up for lost time. Shaq got the injury in the Cavaliers’ NBA victory at Boston last Thursday, when a shot from him was blocked by Glen Davis in the first half.

“Will be out for a min but when I return it is on,” O’Neal posted on his Twitter account on Monday morning. “Win da ring for da king! Luv my team, Cavs baby!”

Cleveland general manager Danny Ferry said O’Neal will wear a splint for a fortnight, then begin rehabilitation.

“Our guys have done a very good job of stepping up this season. We are confident they will do the same in this situation,” Ferry said.

It will be directed by Jake Kasdan and written by Lee Eisenberg & Gene Stupnitsky, the film is produced by Mosaic’s Jimmy Miller and begins production later this month.

The comedy stars Diaz as a foul-mouthed, gold-digging seventh-grade teacher who, after being dumped by her boyfriend, sets her sights on a colleague (Lucy Punch) who is dating the school’s model teacher (Timberlake). Jason Segel also stars as the school’s gym teacher while John Michael Higgins will play the principal. Molly Shannon and Eric Stonestreet also star. Jake Kasdan will direct from a script by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky.

andrew Celebrity Update Andrew Koenig is reported missing , the Vancouver Police say.

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating actor Andrew Koenig, who had a recurring role on the 1980s sitcom “Growing Pains.”
Koenig, 41, lives in Venice, Calif., but at one time lived in Vancouver. He is the son of Walter Koenig, who played Chekov on the “Star Trek” television series and movies.

Vancouver police say Koenig was visiting friends in West Vancouver when he went missing. He was last seen on Feb. 14.

A statement released by the police department says Koenig “has recently been despondent and his family and friends are concerned for his well-being.”
