Celebrity Update Gina Carano the most prominent face in the sports of Mixed Martial Arts suffered her first loss to Cris “Cyborg” Santos by TKO in Strikeforce Women’s Championship Main event. Carano started her career in the sport of Muay Thai and with the tremendous record in Muay Thai she was offered to participate in the first-ever sanctioned female MMA bout in Nevada. It was indeed a historic fight ever as the both fighters fought in a high profile with Carano having the technical skills vs the power of Santos.

As the fight began both fighters shows that they both train hard for this fight as Cyborg was in massive dominance along the way and Carano on some escape for a submission it ends up that Power has overcome the technical skills of Carano as she was knocked out in 4:59 of the first round leaving Cyborg the winner and taking the 145 women’s title.

“Since the beginning, I knew this fight would be hard,” Cyborg said through a translator. “That’s why I trained so hard for this fight. The key for tonight was five years of training.” In the debate of technicality versus power, Carano had little answer for Santos’ relentless aggression.
