Celebrity Update Tobey Maguire could be out for Spiderman fourth movie. The 34 year old American actor who plays the role of Peter Parker for the first three films of Spiderman could be part of the Production major overhaul. Not only that Sam Raimi the director of the 3 Spiderman Movie could be part also of the overhauling of staff and acknowledging it saying “the studio and Marvel have a unique opportunity to take the franchise in a new direction, and I know they will do a terrific job.” |
“This is a bittersweet moment for us because while it is hard to imagine Spider-Man in anyone else’s hands, I know that this was a day that was inevitable,” Matt Tolmach, president of Columbia Pictures, said in a statement.
Added Amy Pascal, co-chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment: “We’re very excited about the creative possibilities that come from returning to Peter’s roots.”
