Celebrity Update Gaines Adams died at young age of 26. The American Football player and the defensive end of the Chicago Bear passed away Sunday morning.
He was taken to Greenwood, South Carolina emergency room and was pronounced dead about 9 in the morning. As preliminary autopsy results find it that he suffered of a cardiac arrest caused by an enlarged heart. |
The Bears issued a statement Sunday afternoon, saying, “We are stunned and saddened by the news of Gaines’ passing. Our prayers are with his family during this difficult time.”
NFL commisioner Roger Goodell stated: “He seemed like a very genuine, nice man,” “He seemed focused on being a good person, not just an NFL player. I was always taken with him.”
