According to EW, the rumors regarding Michael Fassbender’s involvement with the film were true! The actor WILL play the role of Eric Lensherr (Magneto) opposite James McAvoy’s Professor Charles Xavier. |
“I’m pretty comfortable with this decision. I prefer seeing Fassbender as Magneto playing against/alongside McAvoy’s Charles Xavier. I like both as actors; so I’m pretty excited about this setup.”
