Will Smith to star in Legend of Cain

Celebrity Update Will Smith signed up to produce and star in The Legend of Cain. Based on the Biblical story of brothers Cain and Abel.
The star’s own Overbrook Entertainment will produce the film. |
Written by Caleeb Pinkett and Dan Knauf, with revision from Andrea Berloff, the story will be given a “vampiric twist”, but with no news on how exactly that will play out as yet. I doubt there can be any vampire angle which isn’t covered in one film or another, even the biblical element has been covered before in Dracula 2000, so I’ll not get too excited just yet, especially as Smith’s last dabble with vampires (in everything but name), I Am Legend wasted great source material itself.
