Celebrity Update Chris Brown, An American recording artist was finally sentenced to to five years’ probation, six months’ community labor and is asked to stay away to the victim(her ex-girlfriend Rihanna) for the next five years. February 2009 Chris Brown was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats, while under investigation for domestic violence charges to an unidentified woman but later on revealed by the media as his ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

With his arrest several of his commercial ads were suspended, his music was withdrawn from a lot of radio stations and also he withdrew from public appearances including the 2009 GrammyAwards.

March 2009, Chris Brown was charged of felony assault and making criminal threats. He was arraigned on April 2009, and plead not guilty to one count of assault and one count of making criminal threats. Then on June 2009 Chris Brown pleaded guilty by then accepts to serve his community labor and five years’ formal probation.

On Tuesday he was sentenced to five years’ probation and six months’ community labor for the two violent incidents. And if Chris Brown violets terms of his sentence, terms of his sentence, including an order to stay 100 yards away from Rihanna he could be place behind the bars.

Brown will serve his sentence in his home state — Virginia — and his community labor will be overseen by the police chief in Richmond. The judge also ensured that Chris performs physical labor instead of community service.
