Micheal was driving his Cadillac Escalade when it collided with a Honda Accord driven by Amanda E. Virkus of Maryland.

The police investigated the incident saying that “No alcohol was involved. No drugs. It was just a car accident,” and founds out that the driver of the Honda Accord driven by Amanda was breaking the red traffic light so its her fault.

Micheal admitted that he drank alcohol an hour ago before the crash but the police didn’t find that as the reason for the crash as the swimmer shows no alcohol impairment.

Still Micheal Phelps is going to have some problems as he will be cited for driving with an invalid, out-of-state license and some some explaining to do.

Celebrity Update Paula Abdul has announced that she wont be returning as a judge for the new 9th season of the hit reality talent show American Idol. On twitter Paula stated, “With sadness in my heart, I’ve decided not to return to American Idol,” “I’ll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all… being a part of a show that I helped from day 1 become an international phenomenon.”

American Idol has been hitting the slots of the viewers as it is the most watched talent show in the world bringing celebrities like Carrie Underwood and Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson at the top of their careers right now.

Paula do have some personal reasons not returning to the show as a judge but she sure will be missed by a lot of viewers as now the panel goes without her.

“Paula Abdul has been an important part of the ‘American Idol’ family over the last eight seasons and we are saddened that she has decided not to return to the show,” Fox said.

“While Paula will not be continuing with us, she’s a tremendous talent and we wish her the best.”

Celebrity Update After Steven Tyler fell off the stage recently while performing on South Dakota, it is reported that now he is suffering a head, neck and shoulder injuries after that fall. He was seriously hurt as his had some bleeding of his head while holding on to his shoulder. He was immediately brought to Rapid City Regional Hospital for treatment.

Celebrity Update Vanessa Hudgen a 20 year old actress singer and known for her role as Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical film series who was involve in a photo scandal when pictures she took for ex-boyfriend Zac Efron ended up online. And recently more of her nude photos had come up but this time coming from her Blackberry.

The set of nude photos seems to be taken by a camera phone and that she alone handled the shots as if she points the camera at herself and pointing to the mirror. Speculations were it was supposed to be her gift to his boyfriend, Zac but a third party was able to have the copy and later on produced and published on the internet.

The supposed 2nd set was then released on the internet but not all were nude as some shows her in lingerie and suggestive poses in a variety of positions.

Many have viewed it and mostly considered the images as fake or edited.

Celebrity Update Madonna is supposed to have a concert in Ljubljana, Slovenia this coming August 20, 2009 but on August 7 according to his tour manager the concert wont happen that day. Local media speculates the reason for the said cancellation was due to poor ticket sales but it was denied by the promoters as ticket sales has nothing to do with it.

Local Media in Slovenia has reported that there were 63,000 available tickets and only 7,000 were sold in a city population of 250,000.

According to Laszio Borsos the managing director of the event says, “The reason for the cancellation is unforeseen logistical difficulties.”"There is no problem with ticket sales, absolutely.”

This will be the second concert of the pop superstar that has been cancelled, the first 1 was in French town of Marseille where it was due to the stage that collapse killing 2 workers.

According to Madonna’s Website: that the 12 remaining concerts on her Europe tour are sold out. Organizers are now planning for Madonna’s other concert that could be held in Belgrade as advertisement for this is boosting up for this month.
