Celebrity Update Rose McGowan has joined Jason Momoa, Rachel Nichols, Stephen Lang, Bob Sapp, Leo Howard, Ron Perlman and Said Taghmaoui in director Marcus Nispel’s Conan. McGowan is to play an evil half-human/half-witch. McGowan is also going to star in Nu Image/Millennium Films, Red Sonja set to film later this year.

Based on the Robert E. Howard books, the movie is written by Thomas Dean Donnelly & Joshua Oppenheimer, Sean Hood and Andrew Lobel.

Lionsgate and Millenium Films has selected Jason who starred in “Stargate Atlantis” and who also appears in HBO’s upcoming mini-series “Game of Thrones,” as Conan because he has a more close look from the original version character of Conan which is Arnold Schwarzenegger.
